William Field’s Logbook is a hand written record of notable events in Cartmel between 1752 and 1894. William Field (the younger) copied his father’s diary and then recorded notable events in the family and local community. Later 2 further members of the family continued to record entries. The logbook has been transcribed by members of the Society and the transcription (below) is available to members as a research resource.
